Chi siamo

Benvenuti a Le Malve Cave Retreat, un boutique hotel a gestione famigliare situato nel cuore dei Sassi di Matera. Siamo orgogliosi di offrire ai nostri ospiti una vera e propria esperienza di immersione nella storia e nella bellezza di Matera, la città dei sassi. Le nostre camere sono tutte ricavate dalle grotte di tufo tipiche della zona, restaurate e arredate con gusto per offrire un mix unico di tradizione e modernità.

Il nostro obiettivo non è quello di far sentire i nostri ospiti come a casa, ma meglio. Vogliamo offrire loro il massimo comfort e l’attenzione ai dettagli che solo una gestione famigliare può garantire. Siamo felici di condividere con voi la nostra passione per la cultura, la storia e la bellezza di Matera, e di farvi scoprire le meraviglie di questa città straordinaria.

We were happy about the hotel: the experience is unique, the rooms are very clean, and the size of the room is reasonable. We had a very good breakfast and the buffet included all local delicacies and home-made marmalade and bread. We had a very good recommendations for the restaurant and sightseeing. City was not crowded and visiting in the middle of the cold February turned out to be a great idea 🙂

We stayed here for New Years and the place was beautifully situated in the centre of the Sassi, below the Church of Santa Maria de Idris. We were welcomed by Sara who was very friendly and gave us lots of useful and interesting information about Matera, including recommendations of nice places to eat. The rooms were clean and we enjoyed the streetview from our window.

This little place is absolutely lovely. The owners are very friendly and particularly helpful. The room was generous in size, mine had a terrace, modern and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.Location is perfect as the hotel can be accessed by car and is within walking distance to all the major sites and numerous restaurants.

Alle Malve è un piccolo hotel/bnb perfettamente posizionato. Le camere sono arredate con gusto; la nostra aveva un delizioso balconcino con una classica vista materana. Il gestore è molto disponibile e ospitale. Perfetto per posizione e valore.
